ABOUT ME
Raija Hoppula Itzchaki
I am an experienced senior healthcare executive and global business consultant, specializing in travel and health insurance, assistance and cost containment fields, as well as U.S. and International healthcare and International Travel for Treatment industries.
I have over 25+ years of executive-level experience in US cost containment and assistance for travel and health insurance risk management. Prior to my consulting career, I served as President of Cost Containment and Travel Assistance for a large multinational assistance organization. I have held various Board Member positions for both US and Global organizations.
Since opening my own Consulting firm in 2020, I have worked with various international travel and health insurers on projects such as cost containment RFP’s, new product launches, operations management as well as coaching and training. I am also available for board member positions.
I specialize in strategy planning, business operations, mergers & acquisitions, rapid growth management, turnaround of under-performing businesses, business development, building networks, accreditations & credentialing, quality improvement programs, as well as training and coaching.

I am originally from Finland, now a citizen of both the U.S. and the EU. I currently live in Davie, Florida with my husband Zvi, and our two boys. My passion is horses.

My expertise is in U.S. and International healthcare and patient management, travel and health insurance, assistance and cost containment fields.

I provide independent advice and solutions in healthcare risk management via health and travel insurance policy design, network management, RFP's, large claims management and overall cost containment strategies.
Given my extensive experience and connections in the International Patient industry, I also provide advise and guidance in building International Patient programs to U.S. and International hospitals and medical providers.

ACCREDITATION & CREDENTIALING
I have always been a strong believer in Quality Improvement Programs through a certified Accreditation and Credentialing process. I have created QA programs from the beginning to the final accreditation, audited programs ready for final accreditation, as well as overseen the process as a program sponsor. With experience in multiple international QA Program accreditation and credentialing, I can help companies successfully tackle a QA program that fits your needs.
